Everything was rosy, but that soon changed
I split from my wife and at 1st everything was rosey i agreed an amount that i would pay monthly but once i had signed over our house and car tables turned and she wanted more than the £250.00 we agrred to and went to the csa hoping she’d get more long story short I have had a few run ins with the csa, the latest was when i purchased a taxi with the idea of renting it out or selling it as i bought it cheap, long story short csa sent me an arrears bill for over £7000 which they said i owed from earning from taxiing.
I informed them i didnt actually go out on the taxi and said i’d have to prove it, but i said they would need to prove i did as how could i prove i wasnt. i had a taped formal interview and was cautioned, they then said that after the interview they couldnt prove i was working as a taxi driver but still owed the money and if i didnt get rid of taxi i would continue to accrue monies, at the time i was working in a call centre earning £900 per month and they wanted more than £275.00 out of that for arrears, i appealed and won but they only concluded i didnt earn as much as the csa 1st stated so still over paid. i had sold the taxi before the appeal. now i find that my youngest daughter may have left school i have had no contact for 8 years so im looking to find out how to find out if she has as ive already asked the csa but got no where can anyone help pete
