Do grandparents have any rights to see their grandchildren?
On 29th January 2002, my son rang to say he had come home from work and his partner of 12 years had vanished with their 3 children after emptying the bank account and removing all food from the house. Theirs had been a stormy relationship, so we were not terribly surprised.
After bitter negotiations with the CSA he now finds that this agency will not accept the date of her desertion, and are saying she has been with them since the 90’s.
My husband and I are willing to swear in front of a commissioner for oaths that he supported them all until January 2002 (obviously not as lavishly as she wanted), but my son says they will not accept this either. Why not?
Is he to be hounded for the rest of his life because of a greedy, lazy woman?
