Despite daughter being adopted CSA are still taking money from me!

Csa are ruining my life, my daughter got adopted when she was 13 and now she is 16, my partner and I split when our daughter was young, they moved away so that I could not see my daughter or have any contact with her, in 2012 I got a letter from csa that I had to pay for my daughter and arrears back to when we split. even though I was not allowed to contact my daughter or see her, I had no address for her although I tried damn hard to find her, I rebuilt my life and married and had a daughter, I ended up losing my house as couldn’t affoard my mortgage, because csa arrested my wages and ended up in debt with other stuff due to the amount of money csa where taking.

I ended up going bankrupt as just didn’t have the money and getting into more debt, as csa had taken me to court and also had there lawyer fees to pay, I thought that would be the end of it, that was in 2015.

They tried to take money again but I sent in adoption papers, to tell them that she was adopted, they phoned and said the case was closed, and they send out a letter confirming that. to this day no letter. I am now a carer for my wife as her health is bad, but just in January I received a letter saying that I am in arrears of nearly 3 thousand. and have to pay it, also they have started taking money from one of my benifits, I have taken this to cab as they are the ones that did my bankruptcy. how can I be in arrears and why am I still paying every 2 weeks for my daughter who is adopted. I hope cab can sort it out even they say that there is lack of communication and there is no arrears as bankruptcy covered everything. so stressed out. so angry.
