CSA problems in Australia – they don’t listen to the father

I have been dealing with Child Support for many years now as my children are 14 & 16.

I find it really hard dealing with Child Support as they never seem to want to help with any issues. I pay Child Support directly into there mother’s account so the children get the funds immediately. There mother has registered me with child support, which means that I have a bill with child support which keeps adding up at this time I owe $17.816.44 as my debt with child support was cleared in feb 2010. I have earned 09/010 $23.000.00 & 010/011 $44.000.00 which I have only just found out that I have to notify them of a payment to her direct.

Which I have sent all the statements of payments for child support to adjust.Had phoned them last week to get a update still processing in the mean time they’ve sent me another statment with more fee’s & overdue fee’s have gone onto my account with them. The gentlemen on the phone from childsupport was very rude & told me that they could make me sell my house to pay back any funds that are left over.

You ring Child Support to get them to help & sort out the problem. I would like to take of the collection from Child Support, but they told me that the only person that can do that is the mother..
