CSA lied about when my arrears would be cleared

It’s along story but i’ll just give the relevant details.

It all started about 3 years ago. The first time i knew anything about the CSA was when i received a letter saying an attachment of earnings order against me. It said that they would take anything over £800.00 that i earned every month. At one stage they were stealing £900.00 a month.

I got in contact with my MP and my case was referred to the CSA falkirk office. They phoned me and told me that they had calculated that i owed £2400.00 and this would have to be paid over a year, so i was required to pay £200.00 arrears plus £150.00 every month, bearing in mind this is for 1 child who i used to give anything he wanted, and just because his mother met someone else and got married the CSA believed her. She is a lying scheming bitch {i’m not bitter}. Anyway the year of arrears was up last february so i rang the CSA to ask when my payments would come down to £150.00 and was told the payments would stay the same until december 2014.

I know the CSA record all phone calls so i have appealed my case to the CSA quoting the phone calls from Falkirk and telling them i want my case passed on to the ombudsman, this was in february and they told me it would take 15 weeks to process, that period is now lapsed, still no reply so i’m going down the road of taking the CSA to court.
