CSA is taking away our means to get good jobs

Some of you people just don’t understand anything. I lost my job due to a layoff years ago and I couldn’t pay. Not all of us are deadbeat dads but you judge everyone and put us in a bucket. My arrears did get up to 10, 000 dollars US but I am currently almost paid off.

The problem is taking away our means to get good jobs, I had to take jobs where I had to bus or ride a bike too. I am sorry but the system should be able to take away your means to get to work or find a better job.

Not only that then they put a court order for my bank in the last couple of years and I try to pay what I can each month and don’t always have money in the bank, but they can do a court order and I get charged a $100.00 a pop. Just today I found out they did it twice which cost me $200.00 plus fees for bounced account.

Oh for the person who commented on not having kids, I did not want to have kids at the age that I had them. My ex-wife just stopped taking birth control pills and did not even tell me. Not everything is in black and white and each case is different.

As far as I am concerned fathers have no rights and it is a shame because we just get penalized and stripped of everything and cast out of society. I made mistakes, my first one is getting married to my first wife and I have dearly paid for it.

I know there are a lot of deadbeat dads out there but sometimes dads are going through hard times and that does not make them deadbeats. I have worked hard over the last seven years to get my child support caught up.

Where is the support for the dads who are struggling? Where do we go to for help to change the flawed laws? No we have to go to court and fight tooth and nail, give all our data so that we can be a statistic and labeled as outcasts. I am sorry, government and institutions like this need to get out of citizens lives who pay for their flawed system.

I wanted to be a dad but have missed the opportunity to be at their plays, see them grow as individuals. Be at their sports games. At least now I have a good wife and a new child that I can be a part of her life.

Raising a family is tough and like I said earlier I was not ready to have kids in my early twenties. Where is the penally for woman who trick their spouses? Where is the penalty for woman who lie in court? Like I said I was not perfect and made mistakes but I work at trying to be a good person. When you go through tough times it makes for tough problems. I was not prepared when I was young to deal with the stresses and I don’t think you can plan for them. You try your best that is within you at the time or that you think you can be.

Only the person who is affected really knows if he is a deadbeat or not. There are a lot of rotten people in the world who don’t care at all. I definitely believe the words penned in the bible. To you without sin, cast the first stone. All of us are deceiving of death, even you did not act on it, you had bad thoughts that you did not act upon. The desire for fairness in the system that helps fathers who really want to provide for their kids the tools necessary to do it. We all need help. You mothers needed money so the system provided a means to do it. We need help to to make sure that we can have a good job and the means to get to it.

I really ranted and probably went off my original thoughts, sorry.
