CSA have destroyed my family
In 1985 I divorced my wife, who opted for a complete and final settlement and the issue of child maintenance settled with the judge saying as my ex-wife was emmigrating to Canada with her new husband I was to pay a lump sum payment IN COMPLETE & FINAL settlement.
I also had to sell the family home , and give the proceeds to my ex-wife…
It was like my sone had died, as I was also informed they were changing his surname , so it matched with his half brother..I last saw my sone when he was 8 months old….
I re-married and took on the responsibility of paying for two children whos natural father hadnt paid a penny and refused point blank…we were living happily as a family when a letter arrives (16 years after the event) which states I owe the CSA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I responded to them and thought I had satisfied their requests by furbishing them with a copy of the Judges order of “complete and final settlement”…
10 years after this (this makes my sone now 27 and I have not been allowed to see, contact, or know him, and they have now summoned me to attend a Magisrates court to answer qwhy I havent paid them the money….
This is an outrage….They also have contacted my employers without my knowledge stating I owe them this money, yet they havent been to court, nor have they answered the main tennant of my arguement…how can a discreditted agency be allowed to wreck my life , threaten me with court, and possible jail for something which is now 26 years ago, and has deeply hurt my immediate family..my parents were heartbroken when they thought their Grandson was going to Canada and there could be no access…imagine their anger when they found out he was living “locally” to them….Why not let sleeping dogs lie….My parents moved to Cornwall shortly afterwards and my private relationship with them deply soured.
Also the CSA have without my knowledge written to my employers and its my understanding this prejudiced my promotion in one company and almost certainly led to me leaving a deeply conservative American company when I was being considered for a senior post I was “frozen out” and a compromise agreement paid to me.
Is it possible to sequest the CSA’s communications..Its my belief the CSA through their pernicious and covert activities have prejudiced my ability to earn a living and advanve my career and have cost me my job.
Despite having spoken with the case officer he refuses to listean, and just says “we will see you in court”…
what the hell can I do…I am being destroyed further…Having greived over losing my son, I find out my ex-wife lied about emmigrating, and knowingly misled the court over the terms of the divorce, the benefit claims she has made, conned the system, and hurt my parents by robbing me and them of a realtionship with my son.
Perhaps If I died maybe then they would stop but I doubt it…..Guilty by association, and steam rolling the judicial systewm..apparently complete and final have been redefined by the CSA….
