Can the father be made to pay if he never wants to see the child?

My sons dad didn’t want me to go through the pregnancy because he said it’s unfair to bring a disabled chil in this world witch I said every child deserves to be here and then he said it won’t be fair on his ex and other child witch is disabled (blind).

He thinks it’s his fault why his son is like it because he colour blind,well any way we split up he got back with his ex and ain’t bothered so I went along with the pregnancy witch was nice and dint have no worries or problems.

I gave birth to a perfect healthy baby boy and his dad or no one else has bothered witch I don’t care my son is better off with out his dad in his life take drugs drinks.

Anyway I just wanted to know can Make him pay for his child’s up bringing knowing he ain’t going to never see him.
