Boyfriend’s ex refuses to let him see his son

My boyfriend has a son who will be 3 years old in November.He lives in Liverpool and his son and the mother live in Essex. The mother wouldn’t allow my boyfriend to see his son and he can only contact her via her solicitors. In April of this year there was an agreement that my boyfriend would see his son every two months due to money problems and he got to see him. Yet, it is now October and there has been no word. The mother has said if he contacts her on Facebook etc or on her mobile she will change it. My boyfriend has rang her solicitors almost every day and they refuse to send out emails or return his calls. It breaks his heart that he cannot see his son.

He has little money to go to court and if it did, he has the fear that favour will go to the mother. I know my boyfriend has given up and is just unsure of what to do. I have look at legal aid etc and I do not think he is eligable for it.

He does pay CSA, but it is unfair that he does so and she refuses to let him see their son. It makes me angry also. I wish someone will help me of what to do. We really need it.
