CSA ripped us off

My husband paid £60 per week for about 7 or 8 years until the csa contacted him in 2004 and said he had overpaid. They refunded him nearly £1000 and closed the case. About 2 years ago they decided that he had arrears of £11,000 and started taking money out via DEO. We appealed and again got a refund. Last year they again decided that he owed them money and started taking £85 per week via DEO,we argued and requested a detatchment of earnings form because we simply could not afford this but nothing ever came.

We sent in a ten page complaint letter and within a month we got a full refund AGAIN. Now, they have started taking £85 per week without even contacting us. We have two children under 4 and only him working so this is obviously not a good situation. Also, his son that the maintenance is for is now almost 22!

What can we do?
