Why must I pay if the CSA has already accepted I’m not the father?

June 8, 2014

Was in a very toxic relationship back in 2008. Ex partner fell pregnant & assumed I was the father.

Found out she was sleeping with different people & took a peace of mind DNA test. Results stated I was not the father so left the relationship.

Been with my new partner now for 4 years & we have a 2yr old. Everything seems to be running smoothly when in 2011 I receive a call from the CSA stating I’m the father to my ex partners child.

I sent them my DNA test results, they accept them (which I have in writing). Ex partner decided to close the case also.

2014 the CMS contact me stating I’m the father. Send them my DNA results with the letter of acceptance from the CSA. They have refused to accept the results.

I now have to pay £255 for another test. My partner is deeply upset as we thought the case was closed.

There seems to be no one accountable for this issue. Evidently I have to just ride the storm. Ex partner is on benefits, no job & there is no justice. Have my hands tied & feeling extremely frustrated.

Raise this with the Chief Execs office and copy your MP in at every stage. This is yet another example of how little the CMS is going to differ from the CSA.

At Tracy lamb in case you reading this?
You see another example of how a Nrp is treated by this disgusting government agency.

You poor guy….surely the ex can tell them you’re not the father or is she telling them that you are and the dna is wrong? You shouldn’t have to pay for another test if first was approved by the csa. See your mp asap and demand to get this sorted. I’ve had a friend who’s husband wasn’t the father (proven by 2 dna tests) to a vicious woman where csa were taking two payments from this guy and the real nrp. Csa were horrendous and wouldn’t even acknowledge their solicitor.

If you are not the father you will not be liable to pay for the DNA test.

I would pay for the test, then when you are proved not to be the father again, get a restraining order against her.
You should be able to get the money back, and while your at it try suing her for damages – doesnt matter if she has no money just keep hitter her with everything (while remaining calm and impasive) until she realises that backing off and dissapering to her hole is the only option.

I done the test. I am NOT the father. Got the money back & moving on with my life. She can never come back at me again! Thanks for your support.

I’ve been to court and got a order stating I’m not the father of the child . I’ve sent it to them and now they are saying I’ve got to pay the arreas owing of 7000 is this possible?
