The Prime Minister told me it’s not his problem
May 14, 2013
My ex husband has not paid anythig for 4 years. He is self employed and wealthy. He also owes me £10,000 in arrears that is from previous non payments. I have been wrting to the CSA for 4 years and most recently was told that they cant tell me anything incase I tell the absent father – who I havnt seen or spoken to for 7 years!
I cannot even get the name of a senior person to complain to. I just keep getting told to write to Jim Edwards – who ever he is? When I write it just goes to another clerk who takes weeks to phone me with no information. I have also written to the Prime Minister who replied saying ” its not my problem” and also to 2 MPs Esther Mcvey and Alison Mcgovern who dont even bother to reply to you. Not sure where I can go next???

It’s so annoying in the same boat
They are corrupt and suit them selfs my advice is give up as they do what they want
I’m in the same boat. 2 yrs of payments owed. Totalling over 3’500! Nothing they can do as he’s self employed!
The CSA have targets to reach and are after their annual bonus.
Therefore they target the PAYE NRP’s. Why waste time and resources going after self employed people ?
That’s how the CSA monster operates.
The csa do not get bonuses ??? I know this cause my mother works for the DWP. They have a target to meet. There not intrested in money. All it amounts to is stats. To prove to the goverment that the system works. Which everyone knows it doesn’t. I myself currently am paying £502 PCM they make arrears up. This then increases there stats. If you do have this letter of the mp I would photocopy and send a copy to Brussels European courts. I’ve seen lys of complaints on this website and one thing sticks out quite a lot. People complain about the csa but no one sticks together. Untill people group together this organisation will be around for a long long time. I think the old system was fairer when nrp and pwc went before the courts. Take your name and address of the letter and send it to the papers.
@ Adrian – this information was posted on this website from a reliable source….
“The bonus scheme, this is a quote from a letter provided to somebody i know about how and why bonuses are paid.
“The Commission operates a bonus structure which awards bonuses annually on a discretionary basis distinguishing between performance against agreed individual objectives. Bonuses are fixed values based on grade and performance. In addition, a one off special bonus may be awarded during the year to recognise exceptional performance relating to a specific piece of work”.
To me that means that a CSA employee will get a bonus based on performance… So exceptional performance ( exceeding agreed objectives by surpassing individual targets) would suggest that bonuses are given… And based on the amount of false arrears, ‘doctored’ paperwork and lies…. They are getting a bonus…. As an incentive to continue with ‘their good work’…
2 CSA employees have been sent to prison for stealing money from NRPs, how many have done it and got off with a warning and worse still, how many are still doing it and no-one knows???
Mine has just quit his job to be a dad to his new baby and his girlfriend works so that csa can not take any money he is in debt of 4 grand with csa
What is this bullsh*t?
How do you know your ex is minted?? Does he send you his bank statements? You haven’t seen him for seven years.. You have been writing to the CSA for four years.. I bet your arms are aching…
I have written to both David Cameron & Iain Duncan Smith and neither of them bothered their arses to write to me. The letters were just passed to the CSA. You got a response?? Jim Edwards is a fictitious bell end who doesn’t exist. Find out who your local mp is and write a letter or make an appointment to attend one of the surgeries they hold.
Good luck. Does your ex see his children? What all you pwc have to understand is we nrps don’t mind paying through private agreements a reasonable amount. But all you pwc hear some chatter in the pub that you can get more money if you go through the CSA.. Greed pure & simple. The CSA then work out some bullshit amount which we can’t afford because a lot of us now have second families. The CSA don’t give a f*ck about this and issue deductions from earnings. This is why people jack in their jobs or become self employed. They would rather pay privately but you have involved the CSA. The CSA will never now let go as they ARE bonused on the money they collect .. If this is not the case and they are not arsed about their kids hold your head up and walk away.. Do you need this shit? Do your kids need a father who doesn’t give a f**k
I would like full disclosure of the bonuses/incentives that are offered to staff for work/action which leads to successful recovery of arrears and/or regular maintenance payments.
I would like details to include whether such payments are fixed or on a percentage basis.
I would like to know what incentives you give to Fairfax Solicitors Ltd. for their recovery activity and whether it is contingent upon success.
I would like full disclosure of the percentage of arrears calculations that are proved to be accurate.
Our response
The Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission (the Commission) is responsible for the Child Support Agency (CSA).
The Commission operates a bonus structure which awards bonuses annually on a discretionary basis distinguishing between performance against agreed individual objectives. Bonuses are fixed values based on grade and performance. In addition, a one off special bonus may be awarded during the year to recognise exceptional performance relating to a specific piece of work
This is a letter sent from CMEC/CSA to prove that bonuses are paid to staff for work they do, all at the tax payers expense.
Owes YOU nothing, he owes your children, its people like you who make decent mums look bad, greedy cow,
