So many sad stories on this page, CSA does NOT care about the kids. Support is the biggest scam, I have been fighting the system for about 6 months now. I was forced into the system, because I didn’t contract with them. Long battle but one I’m up for
I feel for so many on this page, I have had 1 dad pay too much in my eyes and 1 that would do anything in his power not to pay a penny, my eldest daughters dad is still paying off arrears and she is 30 this year, lol. But the CSA seems to be all about ruining peoples lives, what should matter is contact before money, even though all fathers should support their kids, I can’t understand how the government says, whatever amount of CS is paid, it doesn’t affect benefits these days, yet a lone parent couldn’t go out and earn more than £20 (this is what it used to be) or their benefit will be affected, yet can have £100 a week CS, yet it doesn’t affect it, i’d love to know who makes up the rules, time they scrapped the CSA and think of a sensible amount of money per week for kids, not the stupid amounts they are asking for off NRP
Joanne well said csa just make peoples lifes hell payments that are just mad and no way of paying have the time and i do think kids should see there dads but when u split up the woman now gets told in a way to say her x hit her so get legal aid and then it goes from there the system is a joke
If you know you are right & the CSA owes you money you have no other course of action but to take them to court. Good luck with that because they seem to be immune to prosecution.
The CSA belongs to the Cold War period and it belongs to Soviet Communist Russia.
There’s no other government department that has the same powers the CSA do.
