My rights with the CSA

November 12, 2010

After making a complaint to the CSA complaints dept and complaining tp my local member of parliment a decision was made to change my case manager yet again after making my complaint. Six months after making this complaint my case manager was changed yet again. Where is my right to privacy? On several occassions (7/10/10 & 8/11/10) my privacy was jeopardised.

My file is my file. It has MY name on it and if I dont wish to have it past around the office as if its the office memo about the up and coming christmas party. There wasnt a problem with where my file was. Why hasnt enforcement action been taken against my ex partner? If the CSA where doing their job WHY was my ex partner allowed to get away with not paying. My son has a right to that money and a right to access it when its due.

WHERE ARE HIS RIGHTS BEING EXERCISED???????? Fair is fair. If the CSA wanna exercise their rights, I wanna be able to exercise my rights too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good grief.

All the troubles in the world and you are complaining about ‘your’ file being passed around within the CSA!!!!!!

They are obviously too busy harrasing people like me who have paid since the day they asked but then push to the point that I want to arm up and walk though their office like the Terminator.Ring them every day or as I posted before give John Harwood a ring… oh and send him MY regards. John Harwood, Senior Case Manager – 01384 283057 ext 3057

What does your MP say about this? And the Data Protection Act. Check out the Information Commissioner’s Office and make a formal complaint. http://www.ico.gov.uk. Also ask for a copy of your file at Data Protection Unit Room BP6002 CMEC Longbenton NE98 1YX 01912162629

I sympathise. My file has been to Hastings, Pymouth, Belfast, Newcastle and back again – I'm sure its been left on the coffee table in the staff room! Its been 4 yrs now and my ex hasnt even been made to pay a default pymnt, now owing £24k. My M.P got involved and made it worse because everything had to stop so they could investigate the liability order the csa ordered for the wrong date and amount. The CSA really doesnt give a toss about families, just screwing the parents who do pay and are honest!

Everyone MUST be getting down to their MP's surgeries. Make the MP's lives hell. So they are saying. Not another CSA complaint. Then maybe they'll damn well close it down as was ordered by the last government.

And, old rules v new rules. Obviously the old rules are the rules made in 1999, and the new rules are the CMEC rules. Or, should we all do the same, anyone paying VAT at 17.5% is on old rules so we all remain on 17.5% VAT when the new 20% VAT rate comes in 1st Jan?
