I haven’t seen a penny since I opened CSA case in 2015!

I opened a case against my daughters father in 2015. It’s now 2019 and I’m still yet to receive a single penny? How can this be so? After paying the £20 fee to Cms I’ve given them more than they’ve collected for me. They’ve had contact with him from the very start and have known when he has been on benefits, or in work but still nothing?! I just don’t understand. Also, why has there been no enforcement or anything on him, after four years?!!

  1. What do you want done? Have him thrown in jail? Do you not work or get benefits for the kids.

Why do I feel like you stop him seeing them lol

  2. Hi Gina

How frustrating for you and your family!

What ever you do, do not apportion blame on your ex-partner until you know the facts. I have often seen cases where the CMS/CSA have collected child support from non resident parents and have not passed it on to parents with care. Please note that this is not about child poverty or caring about children. The Agency is about making a profit for the government. They couldn’t care less about your or your children – sorry to be so blunt.

If you would like to discuss your case further to see what I can do to help you, please drop me a line at [email protected]

    Regards

  3. Any one looking for advice on CMS law and other aspects. Please do not use Selwyns law aka David Joseph. He is not legally trained has no affiliation with the law society and basically just preys on peoples frustrations and need for help. You’d do better if you stood on the quay side and chucked £20 notes in the sea.

  4. Gina, you may be leaving in a council house and claiming child benefits, working tax credits and child tax credits while the man receives nothing. You want his head on a plate in addition to all the monies you receive from the feminine system!
