Am I still expected to help my daughter at university?

I currently pay for 2 children to separate mothers.My daughter is 18 and has gone to University last week.My son is 10. I pay an agreed £162 direct to my daughter( CSA aware) and £162 via the CSA for my son.

Now my daughter is at University my daughters mother has received a phone call from CSA asking her of the account needs closing. What is the situation for me now as I am still expected to assist my daughter at university finacially?

    Your liability has now ended as of the 2nd September, if your daughter is at uni you don’t have any maintenance to pay, your case should be closed and any monies overpaid refunded back to you

    yes definatly what lisa said you defo do NOT pay as the course is higher than a level 3 at university and child benefit can only be paid at college level and for a level 3 course and NO HIGHER…. contact the csa and get them to close it and get it in writing as they have a habit of coming back to you for false arrears.. but you defo do NOT pay if the kid is at uni

    Just to confirm the above, your liabilities to the CSA end on 2nd September, the start of the 2013/14 academic year.

    Never, ever deal with the CSA by telephone only in writing.

    Pay up to 2nd September and then stop all payments and confirm all this in a letter sent by recorded delivery pointing out you have NO arrears otherwise the CSA will play the phantom arrears card in a few months time.
    By doing this in writing, you pre-empt this and have evidence for any future complaints etc.
