I have not seen my children for 3 years my ex committed adultery and I walked out leaving her with a 180,000 house a car and even took them to Florida on holiday for my childrens sake after we had split (which was the worse holiday of my lifetime). Yesterday I argued with the CSA for over 2 hours as christmas and new year I was on shift at my work as I do 4 on 4 off and due to this I was given double time for working christmas house, I had no choice as this was my shift pattern, then I got hit with arrears of 1010 as I had earned more than I told them I had earned, they then informed me that they had looked into my bank account and my Credit cards and I was capable of paying the arrears on the phone straight away, (that will be right) . I pay my maintenance straight from my wages without fail it comes off and never moaned or contacted them, fortunately I am lucky my new partner is happy to live with me if I only had a penny she sticks beside me, but I have now began a petition online looking for 5000 plus signatures to march to the house of commons and hand them the signatures to ask them to make life more fair for the non resident parent, even just to take into consideration Rent/Mortgage and Council Tax so that we can at least manage to start a new life, as the resident parents always seem to manage my ex is on her third rich man now and had the house changed extentions chucked him out, then a builder with his own business and he did the walls outside and patio then she kicked him out and now she is with a taxi driver self employed who has sold his house and moved in with her so why can we not have peace to start over.
If you would please sign my petition you will find it on www.mypetition or you can access my partner on facebook on Tracy Walker or please email me.

As broken father has stated the CSA is not there to reduce child poverty, we even have a manager admitting that to me when an internal email accidentally fell into my hands during a DP request. See here http://deadbeatdadsassociation.co.uk/index_files/Page786.htm

Why?

Because the CSA is not designed to tackle child poverty and never was. Its primary purpose was to obtain CM from the father to reimburse the exchequer for state benefits paid to the mother.
