Waliu and the child support agency part 2

Yesterday we posted the first part of Waliu’s story, a father who isn’t permitted to see his son yet has to pay over £400 per month for his ex and her new husband.

This is the second part where Waliu gets very emotional, understandably, as he pours his heart out about his dilemma, the money he having to hand over, the extra work he is having to take on and most importantly the fact that he cannot see his child.

[..YouTube..] thank you…i dont know if you watched both parts fully but I said that she is working full time and so is her husband and no doubt they will be getting child and working tax credits.

[..YouTube..] your child support should be worked out at 15% of your wages after tax an ni….the best thing you can do is try and advise her that the csa payments is a disaster and could you send her a cheque each week or month of 15% of your wages….if you could get this arrangement in place then she could phone up and cancel the csa….also if that doesnt work change your job again and never tell them where you are working…in short try and keep the payments direct between you and your ex partner

[..YouTube..] I tried the private arrangement thing. She was having none of it. She started saying that it’s not her problem if I am to pay the amount the CSA are asking since I didnt pay it from the beginning. Which in all honesty I kinda did. Claim was put in Oct 2006 and I didnt start payin until Feb 2007 upto Nov 2007. I have told her the CSA are crap but she just doesnt care anymore. Thank you tho mate. I appreciate it.

[..YouTube..] you can ask for a breakdown of your account….what you were supposed to pay against what you have paid..they will send this to your house…its called an arrears breakdown

[..YouTube..] The CSA are B*******, the more you earn the more they take, dont tell them your working extra hours or they will want even more!! They expected me to pay nearly £700 a month for so called arrears so I gave up a good job and now work part time as I was so sick of them expecting me to find someone elses luxury life, you have my sympathy, good luck.

[..YouTube..] Its very difficult to deal with a corrupt system.The options that work in the uk are…become unemployed and play them at their own game or leave for sunnier climates. i know a lot of people who have taken the latter and not looked back.

[..YouTube..] I did that 4yrs ago…and to be honest I hated it. I dont like the idea of someone watching me while I am with my son. It’s my time with my son and not with anyone else.

[..YouTube..] Hi Noel, My ex stopped me from seeing my two daughters whilst the CSA hammered me for over £480 a month. We should all stick together and bring this rotten CSA down.
