The CSA is running this country into the ground

April 18, 2013

After spending several years unemployed and unable to find employment, 2 years ago I finally got back into work. I got back in touch with my child after being the absent for many years. they took over 40% of my net salary by attachment of earnings, I was none the wiser to any ongoing action as they had not been in touch with me for over 10 years, they then reassessed my salary, rent and council tax and would not take into account any other debts/living costs that I have they reduced my weekly rate meaning that instead of taking £475 per month they would only be taking £296, within 3 hours the collections department phoned me up and informed me that I could afford to pay more and that they had reassessed that I can pay £463 per month.

So in a nutshell when i get paid I will be at -£270 per month and that doesn’t include gas, electric, water or food…. ohh and money to allow me to get to work so I can pay over half my salary in tax or CSA bills.

So I now have to go into work tomorrow and resign from my job, as the CSA are not willing to negotiate a means tested payment system, so instead of me giving the government £400 per month in tax and nat insurance, they will have to pay my rent, council tax, and pay me to live on unemployment benefit, meaning that government is now forking out an extra £1300 and not receiving anything back. another fine example why this country has been run into the ground. Congratulations CSA on destroying another career… and adding another person to this countries unemployment list. #anotherepicfail

You are a no win situation on here. There are people who will condemn you for allowing this to happen, and yet there are many nrp’s, who will know that there are two sides to a story, in what is a private family matter. and as the state interferes, they will demonise you and criminalise you because of money, to prop up their ‘run for profit company’, and ensure that their stakeholder shares increase in value.

As usual my suggestion will be to see your M.P., and try to come to an amicable agreement with your ex, in order to exclude the CSA. Although, this may be difficult as the CSA will say that the money is owed to the secretary of state.

However, you M.P. may be able to influence the offset of payment of arrears, before you get shafted with a liability order.

    Congratulations CSA!

17 years ago the EXACT same thing happened to my husband. Just counting the 17 years between my husband and this gentleman how many others have you done this to? and at what cost?

My husband and I are still suffering and have every day for the past 17 years and my two children (his stepchildren he has supported for 17 years) have recieved absolutely nothing in support and have had to suffer the harrassment and bullying and threats along with us.

My husband left after 11 years of marriage & two planned children; he now lives ‘safely’ in southern Ireland. My husband became involved with the CSA after a girl lied about contraception & absolutely was 100% tricked into fathering a child to someone who had already accumulated a ‘bottom drawer’ of baby clothes before she even met him! Her family; ‘good christians’ have admitted this but do nothing. They travel the world helping children and families cope with poverty while their own daughter has caused total devastation and hardship to a family just a few miles down the road.

As ever, the CSA only see one point of view. This has got to stop!

All you journalists out there if you want a good story email me or any one of the people on here who have given their account of their horrendous experiences with this Nazi like Government agency.

Finally, to all you MP’s who have been contacted by your constituents about the devastating actions of the CSA; have you heard of complicity? You are now on a par with war criminals.

It’s not just the CSA it’s the family court system as well. I’m expected by a judge to pay the mortgage on my own house so my ex can live there for the rest of her life we are in our mid 30’s. I would then on top of that need to pay CSA rates so taking it to 50% of my income. I was then told to move into a shared room in a house leaving me with enough to eat but not much else.

The whole kids and marriage industry turns men into beggars. Bring on surrogacy then men can actually bring up children that actually they can call their own and actually build some future for them. Single gay men are already pushing to change the law in the UK to enable legal contracts to be signed between them and the surrogate and if I was starting again knowing what I know now I would do the same.

    ‘resign from a job’ ???

I think you’re missing a significant point here.

Going to work to be better off by -£270 every month isn’t a job it’s called slavery or preparation for bankruptcy…

Let’s roll this one out across the country and see how it goes down with the masses.
