The CSA are not resolving my problem, just fobbing me off

Right from the start the csa have not listened and been the most imcompetent people ever.

They have sent up to 6 different letters on the same day with 6 ridiculous figures some demanding more than i actually earned weekly.Over the years this has been the same with no consideration or support for my children who live with me and they have suffered for years.

October 2013 i found out that my son had left education and was working full time for 2 months.When i told the csa they slowly confirmed this with my ex who said she thought she could claim up to his 20 birthday.

Her household had child allowance her full time wages her partners full time wages and lodge from my son and part of my wages aswell but in my household we only had part of my wages to keep my wife and my residing young children.

They finally confirmed that the child benefit should have stopped 2 months earlier and that was the end of child maintenance and that it would take up to 3 months for any overpayment to be returned.

Six months ater still no refund and now a letter stating that i owe 6 more payments from another case where for an older sibling who has also been working for 3 years.Every time i ring i get apologees but no resoltion or explainations just fobbed off to diff departments.

    Sounds very familar….see your mp asap taking all your paperwork with you and start complaining. If they’re saying you owe arrears ask for a breakdown or better still ask for your data file which cost a tenner….when my husband questioned arrears on his closed case turned out he owed nil from an original 10,000 so called debt with help of our mp. It’s very stressful but worth it if your correct. Good luck.
