Reported the CSA case worker for how he spoke to me, but they did nothing

December 3, 2012

How exited I am seeing things and issues like this being brought up ? VERY EXITED.

My story, I lost my job as an Environmental Engineer in 2009 and met a lass in 2010 and she lied to me that she was on pills and made me stop using condom and two months down the line she was pregnant. I HAVE BEEN USED, I FELL !!! Well we jointly opted for an abortion but she later changed her mind an I told her that I will be responsible for me son but never want anything with her again.

From Day one of my son’s birth, I was sending money from my account to her minimum sent was £100 despite earning about £800 from security job and I traveled in Jan 2012 and cause I didnt work in Fe. I never got paid and straight she went to CSA and CSA wont listen to anything I say and they went to my employer and now they are taking £180 off me every month, I just feel like not working again now cause its really insulting that this lass lives with her mum, she gets housing benefit, she doesn’t pay naything , she get all sort of benefits , child benefits, job seeker allowance etc .

I can afford more than £100-£120 but CSA wont do anything. I have been spoken to like am a piece of shit from the CSA Newcastle office, I reported the fella and I was promised that something is gonna be done but nothing has been done since so I just feel like life should end today that every.

I will be happy to pursue anything against this idiotic organisation called CSA.

Stop talking to them on the phone is the simple solution. Write them a letter by recorded delivery with the following text. After that they will only be able to contact you by mail.

    Reference Number : 0000000000

    Date : XX/XX/XX

    Dear Sir / Madam,

I have recently received correspondence from the CSA. I am requesting all contact is completed in writing and I do not wish to receive telephone contact from this point on.

    Yours sincerely

I agree with the last comment. However a few months ago I wrote to the CSA, using recorded delivery, asking them to contact me by letter only.
Guess what ? Yes they’re ringing me a few days later.
The case worker’s reason was my request had been put on the previous page on the screen that he was looking at.
Don’t they have a marker to highlight my request ? Thought not, they’re far too busy targetting the good guys who have always paid, forcing them with threats to pay even more money….. SCUM !

If they continue ringing you make a complaint of harassment to the police. That will stop them.

Sadly they are above the law. They can do what what they like and reporting them to the police for harassment will have no effect whatsoever.

If you have requested that the CSA do not contact you by telephone they should remove your telephone numbers from their system. If they continue to phone request to speak to a manager and advise that you have previously requested all correspondence in writing. You also have the option not to answer the call. If you receive any letters you must reply within 7 days, failure to do so will be considered as non-compliance and this gives the agency the right to obtain the requested information from other sources – ie your employer, HMRC, etc

In respect of your child maintenance liability if you are liable to pay for 1 child and have no children living in your household that you are financially responsible for and do not have overnight access to your son for 52 nights or more per year then you will be assessed as being liable to pay 15% of your net income.

Got something to say?
