Needed a personal loan to pay the CSA

September 14, 2012

I have been paying nearly £500 per month child support for many years. I was asked to provide information regarding a 4 year period (1998-2002) I provided the CSA with information that proved that I attended The University of Brighton full time during the entire 4 year period. I was told that I would be contacted in a few weeks.

I waited 8 months, paying nearly £4000,and eventually contacted the CSA again. The monthly child support I had been paying was stopped immediately and I was told that the CSA would contact me within a few weeks with a log of all the money that I had paid from the beginning so that adjustments could be calculated.

4 months later and I am still waiting to be contacted.

In the meantime I have had to take out a personal loan and I have also been stressed with worry. It would be helpful to know when I will receive a breakdown of the money I have paid so that the adjustments can be made.

Get in touch with them asking for the information you require. Best to deal with the CSA in writing. They are not the quickest at dealing with things at all.

Get a complaint in to the CSA, tell them your fed up of having nothing to live on, its despicable what this place does, makes me sick,
