I don’t know what to do anymore

August 23, 2014

Good morning, sorry to ask, but i’m in an absolute quandary.

The CSA are now demanding £43 + £43.91 (arrears) a week for my 17 yr old son. I still see my son as regular as his busy social life dictates.

And because of the financial difficulty my ex left me in, and subsequent payments to the CSA over the past few years. And with other financial commitments, included fighting eviction notices last month.

I really am not in a very good position to be paying so much money out. I did an online help page for finances, and as it stands i am already spending £450 a month, more than i take home, just to survive. And that’s not even having any kind of social life, or eating every day.

Ive had the phone cut off, i cannot afford my mobile, so that has stopped. I go without food in the week just to pay household bills, and keep some by for when my son stays with me. And the CSA just wont take any of that into consideration, they only listen to her stories, and she is now a very wealthy widow!!!

I just don’t know what else to do, i don’t sleep, i cry all the time, and i miss my son all the time.

Hi join csaripoffs on facebook, introduce yourself and join the fight, it’s not easy but we need to fight together and support each other.

Introduce yourself to the group and tell us your problems with CSA and advice will be freely given.

    Good luck,

I am a disabled woman in the same boat as you. I know its usually women who claim from the csa as the resident parent but due to my disability our roles are reversed except my 2 youngest are aged 13 & 17 and they stay with me 3 nights a wk. This whole system discriminates against men and its disgusting !! I too am left without food and electricity at times due to what i have to pay the csa but ive gone to my MP and i have to say when he heard what was happening to me he was very angry. He took my case straight to the head of csa and to government ! Result is my payments are cut way back to what they should have been, im not facing eviction anymore and without all thr stress my healths a bit better. I urge you to go and see your MP it really can help. Good Luck
