HI, at 26 years old i have a 7 yr old daughter, whom i have paid money for all her life. I even thought myself a bit clever and got my ex to sign reciepts for the amount we agreed between us. Clever yes? No! when my daughter was 2 she opened a csa claim against me and few months down the line we agreed more money, she told me that she had closed it ! No! i now have arrears of 2 grand, that the csa demand i pay back now. i earn 600 pnd per month and they take 188 pound back, when i have a morgate to pay. I provied these recipets 3 times, they never seem to find them. I have started a fulltime degree and as a student they have told me i dnt have to pay, they asked 4 evidence, sent that 4 times they dnt care. at my wits end, i put it to them y shud i have to pay again twice over for my ex to live comfortable, when she cannot be bothered to get a job, sits on her arse all day, whilst i work 40 hours a week as well as doing a full time degree and i have a young baby to look after. They are vultures the csa, unless you are a woman u are branded as scum. I dont begrudge paying for my daughter but why shud my family live in poverty for her mother to live in luxury at my expense? oh and the worse thing is if i want to get my arears bk they have told me, I HAVE TO TAKE HER TO COURT! WAT A JOKE!
