Hi everyone,
I'm going to try and include as much info whilst keeping it as basic as possible, so please ask if any other info is needed.
I'm due in court on 9th feb for commital to prison or to have my driving licence taken away from me for 2yrs for non-payment. I currently work and need the driving licence to hold the job.
I intend to take a letter from my employer stating my wage etc and need to have a driving licence to keep my job. I have 2 other sons at home and whilst the 12 yr old may be OK-ish not seeing me for the 6 weeks the 8yr old would be devasted I think.
Do you think I could ask them to make a deduction of earning order instead whilst in front of them?
I intend to say no to having a duty solicitor, regardless of the benefits or disadvantages!
I've taken my ex to court many many times as she stopped me seeing him with no reason provided to me or the court at all (poor little lad thought I was dead for nearly 3 years because she'd led him to beleive that!), do you think it might be worth mentioning that to the magistrates?
Thanks in advance for any help, Carl
