Hi all I am a NRP with a 16 1/2 year old that I have never seen I am currently paying over £300 per month on CSA 1 (old scheme) and have been told as the child is still in education I must pay but despite requests for proof (ie course title and duration) all I get from csa is under data protection cannot (or will not )tell me. Can I by law find out if the child is in education PS only have a poss knowledge of where the b***h works as I havent spoken to her for 16+ years

you have a right to request from the CSA all of your archive data, the details will be in there. Alternatively contact the Independant case examiner ICE and ask for proof

  3. Hi goggo,

You can request that the agency directly seek conformation from the education provider, that your child is still in attendendance. However, they will not give you 'proof'.

Information supplied in a Data Protection file will NOT confirm details of such. ICE will only get involved if a complaint has been made and the agency have been given the opportunity to deal with it.
