Can anyone out there give me an answer to this before I get into another endless round of unanswered letters. I have recently moved home to a house that although I am joint owner of and pay all the council tax and utility bills I am not on the mortgage because I still own and pay the mortgage on my previous home which is currently empty and up for sale. I have informed the CSA of this and other changes in circumstances which has resulted in them reassessing me as having no housing costs whatsoever and bunging up my payments accordingly.
Is this right and if so how do I "get around this" so that I can claim at least some allowance on my new home to help soften the blow until my old house sells and I can get on the mortgage at my new address.
Any advice will be greatfully received. I've been going through the nightmare of being an easy target NRP for over 14 years, it just gets worse and often feels that there is just nothing you can do about It. Hopefully I'll find some help here.
    Regards
    Carl

Well I don't know if anyone will read this as I'm posting the response to myself but as I've gone through the past 14 years without any help in dealing with the CS bloody A, it does not surprise me. I've lost count of the number of different 'organisations' I've contacted over the years, thought I might get some help here but 3 months down the line it would appear not. I should have known better, just another hot-air anti CSA web site that has provided no assistance or direction and yet I find it unbelievable that the 'how do I avoid paying CSA' gang get responses every time. These people should not be given the time of day. It's because of these shirkers that easy targets like myself and thousands of others like me pay so damn much, just so they can continue to spend their weekends in the pub !
The answer to my query might that might help someone in the future is that you are not entitled to any allowance on a house you are not living in even if you own it and continue to pay the mortgage and it would appear from my latest reassessment I'm not allowed to claim anything on my new home neither until, it would appear, either my name is on the mortgage or I start to pay my wife rent to live in my own home !!!!
