I just found out today that the DWP have allowed the CSA payments of £6.60 per week when im already paying £5 per week for a big fine from 10 years back, I am currently homeless living at different friends out of a suitcase and suffer with various illnesses one of which is serious and life threatening - the childs mother does not let me have any access to my son either which Iam in the process of trying to sort out, I contacted the DWP telling them I could not afford to pay £23 per fortnight from my £130 , especially as Iam homeless and cant buy bulk shopping etc... they said nothing they can do and to contact CSA, the CSA say its just a normal request to the DWP to ask if you can afford to pay anything towards your child and its not conditional and they have the say, on this occasion (first time ever in 8 years of sick/jsa) they have awarded it, but given your current sitation maybe they shouldnt have - but to get it stopped is down to the DWP and to sort it with them...the DWP say otherwise... i rang each of them 3 times to be passed from one to the other - each saying the other is wrong...
Iam at my wits end as i just cant afford this extra payment - if it MUST be payed then both need reviewing and pay half to each..
i notice to complain or contact the DWP/JCP is an impossibility... try it.. complain to DWP, you cant.. it sends you in circles back to the CONTACT US page - deliberately done there...
can anyone help with any advice on this on what I can do?
I have just come off immunotherapy injections for liver disease which has serious side effects (worse than chemo sides) and it failed and im about to start again (as soon as i find somewhere to live) I suffer symptoms of the disease, diabetic, I suffer with really bad panic attacks and on lots of medication - my life is a mess and iam severely depressed, the DWP/CSA just make it worse all the time... if its not taking money or not paying you its telling you at medicals that your fit for work...even if your at deaths door... I wish I could work and look after myself and never have to deal with these idiots again.
