    Hi
Im a father who makes payments through the CSA for sometime. The mother of my child recently had our child taken away from her and full custody is now with her mum (the nan).
I continue to make payments and was interested to know if our childs mother (who is now no longer the residential parent) needs to make payments too.

Basically the nan now has full custody of our child. What is the situation around this.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi

Your ex has a legal requierment to pay for the up keep of her child if someone is legaly looking after the child, If i was you i would be wright on to the CSA today and telling them as she will be reciving your cash and having a good time on it not your kid.

Thanks bobgold. Whats happened is my ex's mother has full custoday and has applied for csa payments so its now in her name. I'm happy the money is going to the right person however, I wasn't sure of the situation with my ex. Should she be making a contribution too? Do we pay half each now that neither of us are the residential parent.
