I have several questions which I hope your members can answer -
My new wife and I have 3 children for whom we receive Child Tax Credit this income is taken into account to pay CSA for two children from my previous marriage. I have no issues with paying based on income but feel it is completely wrong to use Child Tax Credits for the three children who live with us to pay them, thereby reduces their quality of life.
Does anyone know of a petitions relating to the CSA taking Child Tax Credits into consideration on earnings?
I am self employed and it looks like I have made a loss for last year, does anyone know how the CSA treat losses?
Also are there any petitions around relating to the CSA's attitude to having more than 3 children - I am thinking along the lines that because of the Child Tax Credit issue if my new wife and I have another child of our own the Child Tax Credit element will go up by around £2000 but because the CSA make no allowance for more than 3 children the amount payable to my ex-wife will go up substantially.
