Hi there, was looking for some advice.

At the turn of the year, the company that I worked for went into liquidation and we lost all our holiday pay etc. But that wasn't the sting in the tail.

It transpired that although they were deducting CSA money from my wages, they were not forwarding it on to the CSA, and that the company ran up a debt of £4k that the CSA are now saying that I owe them even though I have already paid it.

The CSA set up a debit on my wages which I had no control over, the company deducted the money as instructed, but never paid it, yet I am supposed to now pay it AGAIN!!

Help - I'm at my wits end here!!

You need proper legal advice on this. The CSA should have chased up the money that wasn't being paid to them. The company must have been failing to pay the money for some time if the debt had got to £4k.

Normally the company would be prosecuted, but this is not possible now.

Would be interested to know the outcome of this, my ex's employer doesn't pay ontime at all and owes arrears too - my ex says she is paying - the employer is a nightmare with paying money they have already deducted from my ex, I want to go direct to the employer and sort myself but not sure thats possible???

Is great you have been paying, but is no good for anyone if employer keeps the money that is for children...

hope you get sorted, would be good to know how for all...
