I have always consistently paid the csa. at the beginning I paid in cash/cheque (stupid I know now....)but my malicious ex girlfriend claimed never to have had any money from me and the CSA believed her, so I had 18000pounds of arrears to pay again. They are now actively chasing arrears in from people, I now pay child maintenance to my ex wife direct and I am waiting to hear from the CSA as to the level of repayments they require towards the arrears (which I have already paid once I might add.....) but there is no way that after paying my ex wife the maintenance direct I will be able to afford to pay an amount to the csa with a view to paying it off over 2 years I just don't have it. Will they go after my house? which is joint owned with my new fiance?? I am on the verge of a breakdown....
