I have been informed that in some very special cases advance payments can be considered where maladministration on the part of the CSA can be proven to have stopped maintenance being collected from the NRP.
I am aware that almost all the people you talk to say that you must be in receipt of regular maintenance payment for a period of time, however if the CSA have actually NOT done anything on my case and 1 now only have 4 weeks to go til the cut of point of 19 years old, I am actually unable to receive said regular maintenance payments, purely because the CSA have ignored my case most recently since 11th March 2010. The NRP is in full time employment and could have had a deduction at earnings order had the CSA actually even looked at my case. I have had it confirmed that the CSA have no history on my case since that date. so surely I would fit into the 'very special case' catagory no?
    Thanks
    Sarah
