i am the wife of a nrp we were reassesed and have been paying the said amount with no problems ever since.

we paid for 2 children and have 2 of our own. my eldest leaves school this year for collage and my youngest is 5

the eldest child we pay for has now left school and is working. the second child is 16 this year and plans to go to collage,

so here is my situation as it stands now.

we recieved a letter from the CSA last week stating that from may 25th this year are assesment will be nil for the second child.
how can this be when he isn;t 16 till june and plans to stay in further education. the first child is no longer on the assesment.

friday we recieved annother letter from the CSA stating that they have become aware that we may have had a change in our income.
    relating to 20/05/09 to 26/05/09

they have asked for 6 payslips which include that week.
why would they want to know about just one week.....there was no change in his income...well actually there was i suppose as our assesment took into account some overtime but these pay slips are all just basic hours as the ressesion was on.

so what confuses me is how they are saying they became aware of a change in income for that week when the amount is the same as prevous and following weeks. they could have picked a week with overtime on as a change

why do the say we dont have to pay maintenence after may for second child.

any clarification would be a great help

    thank you
