I split with my partner 12 years ago not long after our son was born.
Since then I have had no payments of my ex what-so-ever. He has never offered to pay maintenance for my son, so when my son was about 4years old I decided enough was enough and decided to involve the CSA.
Each time the CSA manage to track the ex down he ignored the letters and moved on. He changes his numbers and again is impossible to find.
I have recently found out that the ex is living with his girlfriend. And being that where he is living is his girlfriends place, I did inform her that I would be getting intouch with the CSA now that he is likely to stay put seeing as hes in a relationship.
I would like to say that telling his girlfriend was not at all mallicious.. as I have known her for over 20 years. I had told her the situation and what my intentions were.
As soon as the ex found out he threatened to 'smash me all over the place' if he hears from the CSA.
He has managed to dodge the CSA for 12 years.. I am sick and tired of struggling to pay for my son on my own while he struggles for nothing.
Could anyone possibly tell me what will happen next. Will he have to pay for the past 12 years or just pay for now? I would be grateful for any advice.
