My taxable earnings (as shown on my payslips)are small with a significant proportion of my income coming from expenses and dividends.</p> <p>The ex will undoubtedly tell the CSA what the situation is and I am concerned that the CSA will try and take my income including dividends and expenses or worse still the company turnover as my total income. </p> <p>Has anyone any experience with this? Send it recorded delivery and they will have 20 working days from the day when they receive your letter to furnish you with that request. The art of doing a protest seemed to be a good thing but looking into how this governemtn works and the corruption that is going on this actualy is the worst thing we can do. If you look at how Jolly Stanesbey was given a two month jail sentence because he protested on Harmans roof top, this was to shut him up and to give him a criminal record which take saway your credibilty, there is better way to swing this whole mess around and we will be using it against the CMEC and the Judicial system as the Government have been perverting the course of justice and violating our human rights and our constitutional rights. We have found out that the Government have been informing magistrates that all liability Orders must be granted when the CSA bring it to court regardless of whether evidence is produced or not, this is a serious violation of our human rights and since we found this out at a particular court case when DBDA went to represent a father as a mackenzie friend the court case was stoped because it was a mis trial which we are awaiting a new hearing, however the CSA still tried to send in Marstons bailiffs. He had a verbal agreement and paid her direct - no way of proving that! He has had regular contact with her throughout her life, and he hasn't had any contact from csa till now. When he said that we wouldnt afford this the slapped on a deductions of earnings order.</p> <p>They then reassessed the claim, had all our pay slips etc and said we should be paying £51 a week which included £25 a week off the arrears. We had a nother letter come through confirming this but it stated he would be paying it direct to them. He phoned to query this as we are currently under DEO to be told that that figure they had come up with was wrong and he should be paying £87 a week but "we probably wont get that because it will take you under your protected earnings" and they notified us we would be recieving a letter within the next few months fromtheir arrears section.</p> <p>Anyway his employers have only been able to give them £52 a week (anything more would take him under protected earning limit) but heres the problem. He works with vulnerable adults in the community and uses his car for work. He puts in around £40 petrol a week but gets back a proprtion of this as expenses at the end of the month tax free (it works out to be around £100 he gets back) this weeks wages have gone into his account and low and behold only his protected earnings have gone in. My wages dropped from between £450 - £550 a week to just over £200. I just about begged them to half the payments from £60 a week to £30. They refused so I told them I would lose my car and wouldn't be able to get to work. To this they responded with 'Your car is not the problem of the CSA'. I said that if I didn't have a car I wouldn't be able to get to work and thus couldn't pay maintainance. The response was 'Thats not our problem' of which to me sums up the CSA as a bunch of incompetent idiots. I then said that I would have to finish work and go on benefits. To this they said that if I did that they would contact the DWP and inform them that because of CSA involvement I put myself on benefits and I would receive no money! In the end the stress and depression got to much and I had to sign off sick. The CSA and their incompetance of not collecting information properly has put me back on benefits and in £3000 arrears. </p> <p>They have worked out my maintainance on NO shared care when I have always had my daughter 2 nights a week since myself and her mother split up. This was apart from a bitter brief period when my ex partner stopped me seeing my daughter and I had to fight for her through the courts. She told the CSA that shared care had stopped but NO-ONE decided to inform me. So for all these years I have assumed that they were assessing me on shared care.</p> <p>They refuse to go back and look at the case and would rather put a father in prison who has never refused to see his daughter. I have told them that if they looked at the case again and put matters right I would be prepared to set up self employment and everyone would benefit. Now three years later they have tole me that there was a mistake three years ago and i should have been paying all along this was after i had asked them to check my assessmenmt at least 9 times, and was assured the nil assessment was correct.
