First contact with the CSA

May 4, 2010

The CSA phoned me , first contact and presurised me into sending documents by fax and asking permission to contact my employer.

I have £170 a month clear, one child living me me and ine with the ex. The CSA wish to take £320 a month from me despite the fact that I am a single parent.

Are they allowed to contact my employer without permission? Can they take money without permission?

I was baically told if i dont pay that they can take me to court and force the sale of my house. I am just a human being who are these beasts, what can i do?

    Hi mark knight,

If the agency have recently contacted you, the case will be on CS2 rules.
As such an assessment will be based on a percentage (depending how many children you have living with and/or apart from you) of your income.
