Can someone tell me if the CSA take into account any additional moneys required to look after your current partner(wife) if she is disabled. I no they take into account if you have a disabled child living with you but i wondered if there is anything for a disabled partner.

Any info would help.

Thanks

As a result of this my partner had no choice but to go self employed as they wouldnt change payments or listen to us. its been really hard for us sometimes only earning £200 a month. AND GUESS WHAT SHES BACK FOR MORE! obviousley whants another holiday on me!

I believe you should all e-mail me (rgs@btinternet.com)with your questions as I work for people who are struggling to resolve their CSA issues.
I have vast experience with dealing with the CSA and have resolved many problems.
I have jumped hurdles and through hoops to get to where my knowledge is today.
The problem you will find is that the CSA staff always hide behind politics and find the easy option in resolving your case, (in other words get your money).
My fees are reasonable at £15.00 for each hour worked on your case plus any additional expenses that may be incurred. Sadly i do ask for an upfront payment but the initial consultation up-to 30 minutes is free.
If you need help please get in touch.

My ex is self employed and says he only earns 400 a month. He receives tax credits and goes on holiday every month. I know he earns more adn receives tax credits. He also had a pay off from me of £40,000, which I had to take a mortgage out for so I could keep the family home for my son. I only work part-time so if is a real struggle. The CSA have just phoned me to say I am entitled to just £7 a week. It hasnt worked for me. They havent taken into account any WTC so should I phone them and inform them of this?

i think the csa is a joke they have taken my wages and my tax credits and working tax into account to assess my maintenance they told me that if i was not using my tax credits to put my 2 youngest kids to private schooling or nursery they can do this but if i was putting them to private schooling or nursery the tax credits would give me more help i pay 240 pound to my ex a month for my daughter but i receive the tax credits and working tax for my 2 youngest children i have to my new partner i just think its wrong the citizens advice said they can take my wages and working tax not my tax credits but they still have i don't mind paying maintenance but don't take the piss i am the only one earning in my household its not bad considering i paid my ex 100 per month for years without complaint and now she has a new bf and a new baby and another on the way they both work get all the same credits i receive i just think she is a greedy bitch but what goes around comes around

The above information is not all true - Kellie is wrong.

Non-resident parent income is taken into account ONLY - the law changed in 2003. I just called the CSA and this is true. The form doesn't ask for it either.

So their new partners income is not taken into account

The CSA take everything and leave you under the poverty line full stop second families are held hostage like criminals even tho my husband was never in a relationship with this other woman and we were married with what we thought was his first child only to be hit with the bombshell that she had used him as a sperm donor !!!!( before i met him ) But NO she comes first and my kids are made to suffer !!! This stealing money from kids to pay for others has to be stopped !! the wife or new partners wages should never be used or any other benifits ,tax credits ect..I never made the mistake of sleeping with this woman in my past but i'm made to pay for it ! so why should I hav to pay for her kids and why should my kids have to pay for her kid !!!!!
