CSA wants to destroy my new life

May 3, 2010

My wife and i split up over 10 years ago. She ended up with 75 % of the proceeds of or house sale and after paying my solicitor for the divorce and fighting for access to my 2 children was left with nothing. Under the old rules I had been paying 300 a month which I could manage.

Now, after not having any contact with my kids for 10 years, she has requested that the case is reassessed and they now wnat £600 a month. I have worked hard to build a new like for myself and bettered my career. Why should she now benefit from me after deciding I was not going to see my own children.

I cant afford to pay this new amount. What tdo I do, go on the dole , I have no idea what is going to happen.

    I totally agree.

I think that a resident parent who obstructs contact should not be entitled to claim CM. In fact, the system works in total reverse and they are rewarded with more ….

    Go figure ….

Sir, I’m in the same situation. Do they care..NO. Do you have a choice..NO. the only option is find somewhere on the list they can’t find you or remove yourself from this planet…which is where I shall end up. Not that anyone will notice or care. Being a father sucks! – even the kids don’t care :-(

Got something to say?
