CSA system tells them to keep all of my payments

March 6, 2013

CSA are holding my money….

I have received child support for 13yrs for my 15yr old son. His father pays the CSA regularly, but they have stooped the money 4 weeks ago saying they are investigating an overpayment but won’t tell me anymore than that.

He has only ever paid what they have calculated for him to pay, he has never disputed this.

The CSA have told me the money is due to be repayed to the secretary of state as I was receiving it whilst on benefit prior to 2008- I was working then and never claimed any benefit.

I have tried to tell them this but they say it is what their system says, they will keep all future payments and there is no right of appeal.

Any advice anyone?

Write to CSA with proof of postage, don’t deal with the telephone stormtroopers verbally, it just causes you stress. Involve your MP in everything. If its amicable with ex do away with CSA, if not dig out as much evidence as you can to support your case. Appeal, complain, query every decision the corrupt organization make.
