Could I limit the time they see my ex for a reduction in CSA?
April 22, 2014
I’m not really getting along with my sons father of late and previously have tried to keep things amicable by sharing the drop offs and pick ups.
I have heard from other single mothers that this is not my responsibility.
Is there any chance I can stop this arrangement with my sons father and reduce his csa payments to cover fuel costs?

it is your resbonsibilty! kids have rights to see both parents, and both parents should promote this! cant believe your asking this. think of the child an not yourself
Things may not be amicable but think of the children and csa will not likely to reduce payments unless it’s private agreement…and don’t listen to other people on what they think as every situation is different and why shouldn’t drop offs also be your responsibility, don’t think it’s fair just to be left to your ex, you both had the kids.
It’s not your kids fault that you and your ex don’t get on.
Just hand them over and walk away.
As for the other women’s comments do you really want to turn into one of those woman ?
This is about your kids seeing their father.
Most Fathers in divorce lose everything especially the ability to keep them selves.
The CSA does not care if they end up in bed sits or homeless .
You are talking about Parental Alienation and in the end the kids will suffer!
Did you read the post correctly she wants to reduce the amount of CSa to allow for fuel etc for travel ?? She isn’t on about stoping or limiting contact just changing how it takes place
she should share the travelling, not just reduce csa! why should father do it
Amanda Johnson liked this on Facebook.
If things have become tense for a reason best to try sort it out if not it is each persons own responsibility to ensure they have contact. CSa wouldn’t reduce payments unless the other parent asks for a variation based on travel costs for contact and it depends on the circumstances as to wether it would be granted
if u want to reduce payment set up a PA instead going though the CSA they well not do that just when u ask you have to do it ur self with ur ex or hand him back some money for the cost of flue or w,e
also grow up its not about u and want u want its about ur son .
Unbelievable!!! Selfish attitude!
What? Just take the kids n leave , u don’t have to speak to the ex , it’s all about making your kids happy not yourself
I dont have no contact with my sons father. My ex husband collects my son from my mums and drops him back there. I dont need to speak to my sons dad. The courts ordered a contact book to use so thats what we do and as long as he turns up for my son thats all that matters
Also my ex tried to claim for travelling expenses. I dont see why any parent should complain about the cost of seeing a child.
Its your responsibility to make sure you attend to see the child despite the amount ot costs
I’d only complain if I was paying CSa and then more costs to c my son
It should be shared journeys it should be encouraged by both sides for the sake of the kids.
Fathers always lose out in divorce and through the CSA.
Last time I looked it was leaves that grew on trees not money!
