my case No is 321002914311i have ben paying off a bebt to the csa for many years now by standing order.

The fault of the debt was not mine but that of the csa however i have been paying this off for some time now, i am coming up to retirment age and would ask if i need to carry on paying this at this stage of my life.

At the time that the csa brought this to my attention i through it best to pay the debt off as they used heavy handed tatics so i did not appeal against it at the time.

All i need to know now is do i need to keep on paying and if so what does the debt now stand at..

    Many thanks

    Regards

I’m not sure I understand you point, you are paying a debt, you dont know what its for, you are unsure how much has been paid off and you dont know when payments will stop?
Do you have a copy of your Data Protection prints? Get these as they should give you some info, dont deal with the csa by phone, put everything in writing and send recorded delivery. You might want someone to advocate on your behalf, try your MP or citizens advice. AT some point you may need to see a csa specialist solicitor.

Absolutely disgusted with the service i have recieved. Not had a single paymment in over three years and only had a measly £80 in csa since Febuary 2007!!! My ex has been working all this time i have done everything to get the money giving you his contact numbers adresses ect im now owed over £8000 i thought if somebody didnt pay matinence and avoided paying at all costs they go to prison this is obv not the case you can avoid paying for your children just by ignoring letters being sent to you. CSA is a pointless organisation ive been bringing up my two girls singel handedly for 6yrs and have recieved no help all i get is we will ring you back then i hear nothing for months on end until i make contact again then i get told we’ll call you back i have been going round in circles for 6yrs and have had enough.

Of all the years l was the oldest case on their desk l chased them up. They took no action except passing my case to another dept resulting them giving me £5 a week. Every time my ex became unemployed they held my payments pending and l had to make the calls to restart my claim again from 0 to £5 a week at my cost of making 08 off my mobile. Now they are sending letters requesting me to contact them now time has expired – amazing !

I contacted the CSA back in 2005 when my marriage broke up. I constantly contacted the CSA since that date and i’m Owed over £20,000, A’s you can imagine that sum of money is a huge amount to be left without for 3 children. I believe my case has now been moved over to cms and I am now expected to pay for that pleasure. I was forever being pushed from pillar to post everytime I tried to get a payment. With no joy

I will not give up on this my kids have missed out on things, day trips, school trips because I couldn’t afford it even though i have always worked.

My solicitor in Spain has asked me to get FULL details of all my CSA payments in the UK for my child who now lives in Spain. I live here now too and am going to court with my sons mother in November so need a way to get this info?

Still chasing me after 6 years. Paid from my wages and the fact my ex stole my car and every possession I ever owed is irrelevant. Now homeless and trying to apply for benefits! My children were thrown out by my ex when the benefits stopped! I owe 3k and used to pay that in two months! I’m at a dead end and had enough!!!
