Warning to all French fathers: never come to the UK

December 12, 2010

I have been severely ripped off by my ex: she grew up in uk and surely knew how things worked there. She went to France, where we quickly met, bought a flat and after 2 years finally got legally married – just before the baby was born. I insisted to do that at least. We cancelled the wedding twice before. Then for some strange reasons she wanted to go back to UK, when our son was 3.

Guess what: 3 months after, we separated! She vanished to her Mother (just front door) and made false allegations of violence. Despite the total lack of evidence, Police believed her and I was kicked out. (later on it was stated that there was no physical violence, only very subjective psychological elements – which in my opinion were worse from her than from me). So I lost then contact with my son for 8 months. It was the time it took to realise that nothing would be done by the authorities unless I would pay some expensive solicitors (nice country). Then I contributed on a voluntary basis but to an account supposely in my son’s name, that even the Bank refused to confirm (when they let his Mother open it without even informing me!). Then the Mother permanently changing the agreement reached with

Family Mediation, I had no choice to apply for a shared Residence Order. Never she was even criticised to have moved out without informing me, travel abroad without informing me, changing the boy of school 4 times without informing me and so on. No this does not count for Mothers in UK. But false allegations of doing nothing when you are a separated Father counts a lot, this is the culture here ! Any way I had my application rejected, but I had contact Order at least. No shared residence means, even if you share quite fairly the time, that you does not count (for school mainly). UK has no idea of sharing parenting. Every process is done as if only one parent car have main care.

Then comes the CSA:

I wanted things to get right and stop paying into an account none could certify. WHAT A MISTAKE I DID WHEN I CONTACTED THE CSA!!!

They are only a bunch of morons. I had been disadvised to contact them before and I quickly understood why: they took all my details wrong, including the contact order. For them 3 equals 2, no trouble. And you must answer them within 7 days, unlike them. Anyway, they threat you immediately to place a deduction earning order!!! They never deal in written (very good for non-native english speakers). And so on. Now I found that website csahell, I understand my pain is far from being ended…

CAFCAS/CMEC Quangos time to go

November 13, 2010

According to the news, that I have read and fervently folowed, both CAFCAS and CMEC are listed amoungst the 900+ quangos under review to be be cut.

Therefore is it not time to strike while the iron is hot? ie plague the csa constantly, with phone calls, letters, solicitors and MP”s questions. It is now time to make sure all are equally treated by this Government body and the next understand that WE are no longer willing to be persecuted, becouse we are an easy target, yet the actual perpetrators disappear into oblivion becouse it is easier fot the CSA to Read more

CMEC is under review by the government

October 14, 2010

CMEC are on a list of quangos under review. What are the coalition waiting for? It’s a glorious opportunity to get rid altogether.

It cannot be right that £4 billion pounds is uncollected and those who pay are repeatedly targeted. It discriminates against the ones who have never received any monies and the ones who are paying above and beyond what they should be paying. There has to be a better way for everybody, but without the ‘shambles’ and ‘incompetence’ of CMEC! Billions spent on Read more

CSA want an interview, but won’t speak to me

August 13, 2010

The Child Support Agency sent a letter to MrDaz today insisting that he attends an interview at his local Job Centre, even though he works. He tried to call them, and naturally recorded the call, but they hung up as usual.

Have a listen to what he said, and see his post here.

I received a letter this morning from the CSA asking me to attend an interview next week at the local job centre. This could be a problem, because I work and can’t attend at such short notice. I called the number on the letter and spoke to Cheryl, in Chester. When I gave my name she immediately knew who I was and told me she couldn’t speak to me, as I was to be contacted by letter only, and then she hung up on me.

What should I do now? I can’t attend the interview next Thursday as I’ll be in work, unless I manage to move some days around at very short notice. Even if I send a letter back to the CSA (as Cheryl said I should do) I can’t print one and send it until Monday when I’m next in the office, so they won’t get that until Wednesday, and the interview is Thursday!

Anyhow – listen to the call and see what you think.

Axe Murder at the Child Support Agency

August 10, 2010

Coming soon to a theatre near you is ‘Axe Murder at the Child Support Agency’. This completely fictitious movie is based on a thousand true stories of how the CSA has driven men to the verge of violence, despair and, in many cases, suicide.

Maybe this film will happen one day, maybe it will be based on true events – maybe David Cameron will spare the film from happening by taken his own axe to the CSA and getting rid of them once and for all.

In the meantime however, we can enjoy the imagery of what could be if someone did take an axe to the CSA, using a real axe. As the poster says, this is filmed on location at the CSA offices in Belfast, Birkenhead, Dudley, Falkirk, Hastings and Plymouth.

What do you think of the film idea? We think it’s a winner… possibly by Michel Winner. Calm down dear, it’s only an axe.

CSA case workers are rude and ignorant

July 26, 2010

I’ve been speaking to the CSA on behalf of my partner who has had a real rough time and isnt well enough to be dealing with vile CSA case workers. The woman on the phone said to me repeatedly ‘that little boy’s had nothing from his father‘.

I told her to stop saying that – and explained everything that we do our end i.e he has a full wardrobe here, we take him on holiday, we have him 3 days a week so its not like we only see him twice a month… he is spoilt rotten and has a damn site more compared to most kids!! Again the lady kept repeating that little boys had NOTHING from his father. So I told her she was insulting me and I’d worked very hard to make sure he was properly provided for at his father’s end. In the end, she backed down and said it Read more

I work for the CSA and I had someone’s house seized

July 22, 2010

This was added as a comment to this post, but we just had to put it on the website as a post in its own right. Please feel free to let us, and Susan (who works for the CSA), know what you think in the comments below – CSAhell.com staff

I happen to work for the CSA.

Flint – have you ever heard of the saying that it is better to keep your mouth shut and have the world think you are an idiot than to open it and confirm everybody’s suspicions?

As regards working without paying – we will catch up with you in the end. And then you will have to pay. Before you say that debts can’t be enforced after 6 years – wrong – this debt will go to your estate once you die.

House seizures are a reality now – not a myth. I know that because I made a referral for one which was taken.

As for self employed directors who claim minimum wage PAYE and then pay themselves in dividends to avoid paying maintenance – you will have a rather nasty shock when there is a massive bill sent your way following a variation or departure for dividend income and/or lifestyle inconsistencies.

My best result so far? A gentleman who claimed he earned not a penny but paperwork summoned from his accountant including his tax return showed he earned over £50,000 a year. What happened to him? He’s now got a criminal record.

The fact is that we attempt to be fair, but if there is deliberate avoidance then there is every reason for hardball treatment.

So, flint, be ready for that knock on the door from the bailiffs.

CSA says children in Plymouth owed £25million

July 20, 2010

Absent parents around Plymouth who have failed to keep up with child support payments now owe a whopping £25million. Figures published by the Child Support Agency show that £15.2 million of this is owed by non-resident parents living in the city’s two constituencies.

Parents in South East Cornwall owe £5.9million, whilst those in South West Devon owe £3.7million.

CMEC, the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission, missed the targets set for collection of money by £23 million in 2009, driving the total amount owned by absent parents across the UK to an astonishing £3.8 billion.

However, CMEC has said that the debt fell by an average £5million per month leading up to March, with 2009 seeing 114,400 brand new enforcements alone.

Fiona Weir, the chief executive of Gingerbread, the lone parent charity, says that children are being excluded from crucial funds as the Government concentrates on recovering debts. Speaking to local newspaper The Herald, she said:

“Child maintenance is vital for children in separated families.”

“We know from single parents that this is much-needed Read more

CSA Bolton is a disgrace

July 12, 2010

My daughter’s “father” is what is known as a job hopper by the CSA and yet they do nothing to speed up their change of circumstance process in order to minimise and reduce the benefits of evading payment. My ex has only ever paid £1000 of a £9000 arrears since 1998 in the meanwhile he’s continued to father children all over the place!

Unfortunately for me my case is clerical and “processed” in Bolton, (I know you feel my pain)! In any case it has taken 5 months to process a CoC and submit a DoE! My ex-partner simply leaves his place of employment when he gets a whiff the CSA are on his tail again. He owes over £8000 (which I am unlikely to ever see). My daughter is 20 years old but I refuse to give up. It’s only right that Dead Beat Dads should provide for their children. It’s not like I frog marched him to bed with a gun at his temple! He and his chav family refused to have anything to do with my daughter when she was born and he only saw her for the first time when she was 7 years old but Read more

Iain Duncan Smith targets absent fathers to reduce arrears

June 18, 2010

The new Secretary for Work and Pensions, Iain Duncan Smith, has said that he will compel CMEC (Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission) to bring in £3.8 billion in maintenance arrears.

Duncan Smith has said at the House of Commons that he wants the organisation, which took on the exercise from the CSA, to set itself targets to collect the money and reducing the debt by setting its sights on absent fathers who avoided payment.

He commented:

“Tackling child poverty and supporting families are the key objectives of this Government.”

“A significant component of this is that parents should take responsibility for their families even if both parents don’t live together.”

“However the Government now has inherited a significant debt package of £3.8 billion, some of which dates back before the time when the CSA was amalgamated into CMEC.”

Mr Duncan Smith went on to say that he was aware that no target for recovering the debt existed, but was meeting with CMEC’s chief executive and would instruct him to carry out an audit of how the arrears are Read more
